my mother was born left handed. so she writes using her left hand. but in school the teachers said that using your left hand is bad (we Malays use our right hand to eat and left hand to wipe our ass). so now my mother can write with both her right and left hand.
when i am writing, i had to have my paper / notebook rotated 270 degrees (90 degrees to my left, i am right handed). but when i was in standard 3 (9 yo) one of my teachers turned my notebook back to 0 degree and scolded me for my ugly handwriting afterwards.
