Boycott

as far as i know, Terengganu - with total area of 13,035 km2 and total population of over 1 million - have only one McDonalds; which is located at Kerteh.

yes, we passed by the McDonalds on our way to Paka.

my chinese colleague said that maybe it is because people of the east coast Peninsula Malaysia do not really prefer products from the outside, and they also concerned about McDonalds supply money to Israel to buy weapons.

but, all my life, i have always thought that if they really want to boycott Israel, then why not boycott all the other products from them? eg Hugo Boss, Disney, Danone, Nestle, Intel, IBM etc; and i said it out loud.

then my malay colleague explained: "actually, in Islam, we can take things that are good, for example a computer. there are many good things we can do with a computer. so why do we boycott computers? but if you are using a computer to do something bad, that depends on individuals. and i heard McDonalds do admit that they supply weapons or money to buy weapons to Israel."
