i remember i slept on the far left.

suddenly i sat up.

half awake.

then i noticed that my friend who slept on the far right inside the tent also sat up.

i looked at her.

she looked back at me and asked,"what is with you, gun?"

i just shook my head and she lay down and go back to sleep.

then i couldn't control myself but to get up on my feet.

i stepped over my friends' legs.

i went out of the tent.

i put on my flip flop.

i walked a few steps away from the tent.

and i stopped.

i looked up, facing the dark sky.

i murmured.

then i went back to the tent.

and back to sleep like nothing happened.

somewhere in the year 2002 i went to Gunung Senyum, Pahang for a school trip.

i had a high fever.

fevah~ fevah~ yeah!

stop it, adam!

i don't really know what happened that night. 

it was like i had been controlled by something.

and i just let it be.

i thought that it was just a dem realistic dream.


but the next morning my friend asked, "gun, did you go out to the toilet last night? why didn't you wake any of us? it is dangerous to go out alone at night at this kind of place."

it remains a mystery to me.

by the way, it is either Nuang or Chilling tomorrow.

how to play?

i did mention that i need a new doll.

other things that you need:

- rice
- your fingernail clippings
- needle
- long red thread
- sharp objects eg knife, cleaver, machete, or even your sharpened pencil
- a cup of salt water or sake (Japanese rice wine)
- bath tub, or you can use wash basin, pail, etc...
- place for you to hide eg closet
- optional: a will. you might die or disappear.

what do you need to do:

name your doll, cut it open and remove its stuffing. put in rice and your fingernail clippings inside the doll and sew it up using the needle and red thread. wrap the excess thread around the doll.

fill your bath tub with water. at 3am, hold the doll with both hands and say "for the first game, i (your name here), am it." say it loud 3 times and put the doll in the bath tub.

walk around your house and shut off all lights as you go. keep your tv on, tuned in static or blue screen. close your eyes and count to 10. get your sharp object, go to your doll and loudly say "i found (your doll's name here)." 

stab the doll and you have win this round.

next, say "for the next game (your doll's name here) is it." and leave the doll in the water with the sharp object still impaled on it. quickly get out of the room and quietly hide yourself together with your cup of salt water.

stay where you are as long as you can or until sunrise.

how to end the game:

put in as much salt water in your mouth and hold them in. look for your doll and once you find it, spit the salt water all over the doll and say loudly "i win" 3 times.

burn the doll. just in case.

others:

follow the rules.
do notify others if you are playing and there are somebody else in the house. you can play together.
make sure there are no one in the house if you want to play alone.

i didnt.

from left: Goro, Guma & Pinki

i was thinking that i can have Guma to play with me. but then i decided to take a nap with Guma beside me before preparing and ended up falling asleep and woke up at 10am this morning.

i cant play it tonight as i am going back to hostel a lil' bit later for tomorrow & Tuesday i am needed at Bangi.

so... someday...

but i might need to buy a cheap doll. now i think i cant have my Pinki, Goro & Guma involved.

i am a retard.

it is 1.50am now.

my parents & my kid brother went out to our relatives. they might be back tomorrow early morning as my dad need to go outstation tomorrow afternoon.

Where Got Ghost? ~ Cerciter 4

one fine evening after dinner with my colleagues one of them is chinese & another one is malay, we talked about ghosts and evil spirits.

my malay colleague would usually greet 'assalamualaikum' once we enter our house, even if there are nobody home. i playfully said: "dont do that. what if something else answers to your greeting?". then we just laugh.

then chinese colleague suddenly said: "before we enter an empty room or house, we would usually knock first."

when i asked why, he said: "just to make sure that if there are something else in the house or room when we are away, they would immediately go out before we enter. so it would be safer that way."

...

i reached Terengganu yesterday night at about 10pm with another chinese colleague & another malay colleague.

we planned that we shall put down our things first in our rooms and then go to the seminar room to set up our stuff.

my chinese colleague holds the keys to our rooms; then he helped me to open mine. but before he insert the key, he knocked the door. then he looked at me, smile and said: "usually chinese would do this".

i replied: "ya. i know. it is because you want to make whatever other things inside to leave before i enter".

then he said: "hush! shut up and just get in your room!" with a laugh seeming like he is kind of scared when i mentioned what i know.

i slept well last night.
