ok i do have some good / positive quality in me.

some.

but i am not friendly.

Brain in Pain

i am currently suffering from headache.

it actually started 2 weeks ago.

and it is the worst headache i have ever felt in my whole life.

my bp this morning is 130/80.

is that bad?

i am not sure if i should google it because you know...

googling about your signs and symptoms will cause cancer.

but i did anyway.

and i asked a friend who is also a nurse.

and the result is that i do not have cancer.

maybe i was just streesed.

so yeah it is kinda bad actually and i should lower it.

i didnt ask the doctor directly.

i was scared.

i was given painkiller & neurobion; and the doctor asked me to check my eyes.

well i, too, had the infamous eyeball surgery in 2011.

so when the doctor asked me to go check on my eyes, i fell into despair...

of having to pay 2996MYR for my eyeball surgery 3 and half years ago and ended up i have to go check my eyes.

nope... nothing is wrong with my right eye but there is a little ini mini taini problem with my left one.

thank God.

painkiller is... yeah... it kills the pain.

but neorubion?

the hecj is that?

and the doctor also tell me to stay away from coffee and red meat.

stay away from meat?

i dont favor meat anyway but stay away from coffee?

what?

how?

i am leaving to Penang tomorrow and there is a Starbucks drive thru at Rawang

and i love espresso frap withwhipcream.

the doctor also said...

wait.

the doctor.

dokutaa~!

dokutaa~!

What Was I? 4

it is when i was in Japan that i realized that my hair is really long.

and it is not black. it is brownish; and in some photos it is dirty-greenish.

i know.

i need to work on my vocab.

whatever.

not black; with some traces of grey hair.

i am OLD!!!!!!

...

when i counted, i was back in early 2013 since i chopped off my hair really short.

i found something in 2011 and got lost...

and found something new in 2013...

and yeah... it is now February 2015...

i do feel like i have lost myself one more time.

目標や夢 :  どこまで守れるだろうか?

i was destined to get myself lost in every 2 years i guess.

and i feel like crying so much...

i wanted to scream and reach out to somebody but no one was there for me...

well dont worry about it my mind is just kinda messed up these days.

i do have the reason why and i do have the plan but it is just not working yet so i think i will tell you what happened after it is all over.

maybe...

maybe not...

maybe never...

hey i have written this before!

it was on Nov 2011 which i said that on Nov 2012 i might be summarizing what happens in the year 2012 but i didnt!

What am I Doing with My Life?

hey~ hope you guys are doing good yesterday and today because its theeee

weekend!

yeay!

and i am just here watching Jap-Higa all day

and night

because my parents arent here

so theres no one to nag at me for just staring at my new laptop

ooh~ i bought new cheap laptop!

well i did not just sit and stare at my laptop all day.

i cooked for myself!

which is quite not me because i am lazy and i hate to cook but i was too lazy to go out and get something for myself and last week i already ate dominic dominos and pizzahut so i get bored of pizzas and all of the foods on deliveries so i cook

instant noodles...

with egg.

which i had just done eating just now.

i also made fried rice which was enough to feed myself yesterday for breakfast and dinner, and also today for breakfast...

with egg.

i did laundries!

just hung the ones done this morning. Malaysia is very hot so my family do not have dryers.

my parents house in Putrajaya have 3 floors and i swept the dust away on the first floor;

yesterday night.

my mom asked me to mop the floor but i didnt!

and i am going back to Puchong tonight.

and because i am done with all the posts in 9gag and there are no other new posts to see

and also because theres nothing good to watch on ASTRO!

because

ASTRO!

kept on showing almost the same thing or same episode or shows from centuries ago~

uh.. yeah. no. it might not have been from centuries ago but the show looks like its filmed before i was born.

not really.

and if you want to watch better shows then you might need to subscribe

WITH PAYMENTS

and the channel you subscribe

WITH PAYMENTS

are going to show you the same show all over and over again!

... i lied.

i have not once subscribed anything from anything (astro, hypptv, whatever) because in the back of my mind, i have this thought that if i were to want to watch a better show and to subscribe anything

WITH PAYMENTS

and the channel or anything that i subscribe

WITH PAYMENTS

are going to show me the same show all over and over again...

but i do subscribe to nigahiga!

and theDOMINICshow just now after a watching a few of his videos for the last 2 or 3 weeks...

and kevjumba...

just now...

after sympathizing with him because he was trying too hard...

sigh~

World Taekwondo Federation am i doing with my life?

...

i guess i just love to listen to people talking sh*t or not talking sh*t or just love to see or hear people sh*tting talking.

last Friday evening while waiting for the office hour to end, i enjoyed myself youtubing Eminem. it has been along time since i didnt listen to him. well he is not talking. he is rapping, of course... but rapping is kind of talking but it is about talking faster than usual with background music.

f*ck you brain.

i am now considering to subscribe to Kandee Johnson just to look at her transforming herself into another person using makeup knowing that it will not benefit me at all!

i subscribed to Rachel & Jun just to listen to them talking and at the same time knowing more about the Japanese culture or whatever but i havent had the chance to watch them anymore because i was too busy watching Jap-Higa from the latest vid to now i am watching the vid posted in 2010...

knowing that it will not benefit me at all...

nyiahahahah!

ha.

ha.

ha~

WTF Brain?

i am currently in a search and rescue team for a horrible accident.

a bus hit a side of a bridge.

below the bridge is a weird looking small river.

all that was in the bus are dead.

and one of the victims in the bus was thrown out of the bus into the river.

and we were looking for the body of the thrown-out victim.

it was dark and even though it is only right after noon.

kinda like... storm is coming.

i was holding a big transparent plastic bag for my colleague to gather the remains of the body.

i was also wearing proper PPE, of course.

one of the SAR team found the torso with lower body and right leg still attached together.

the piece was put in the plastic bag i was holding.

the water from the piece splashed on my face when it gets into the plastic bag.

and the smell was oh my God~

and then the right arm was found and also placed in the plastic bag.

and another splash was going into my eyes so i closed my eyes and i opened it and it was bright.

the lamp.

up above me.

on the ceiling.

and i peeked at an astro decoder.

it is 3.38am.

lets go pee and head back to bed couch.

...

yeah, i am too far away from being in an SAR team.

it was just a dream.

a w-t-f-brain? dream.

but... like... seriously...

wtf brain?

by the way, it isnt what it seems.

wtf means World Taekwondo Federation?

like... my brain was kicking my my mind in the ass...

or...

something like that...

ok bye.

well where did dreams come from anyway? does it really come from the brain?

ok stop.

bye.

Japan Day ????: AEDs in Tokyo, Japan

If you’re planning to have a heart attack, Japan may be the best place to have it. - Alice Gordenker, The Japan Times

An automated external defibrillator (AED) is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses the life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias of ventricular fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia in a patient, and is able to treat them through defibrillation, the application of electrical therapy which stops the arrhythmia, allowing the heart to reestablish an effective rhythm.

Haneda Airport Departure Hall

This needs to happen quickly because the chance of survival decreases by 10 percent for every minute the victim remains in cardiac arrest without being defibrillated.

Which means that by the time an ambulance with an AED arrives, most victims are unlikely to survive. In an effort to shorten the time between collapse and defibrillation, AEDs are increasingly being placed in locations where people congregate, including office buildings, shopping centers, schools, airports and train stations.

24 hours convenience store

Placement is happening faster in Japan than anywhere else in the world, according to Dr. Hideo Mitamura, a cardiologist who led a lengthy battle to get the rules on AEDs changed.

Until July 2004, only medical and emergency personnel were allowed to operate an AED in Japan, but now lay people can use them as well.

Ueno Park Koban

“It’s amazing how fast AEDs have been disseminated since the rules changed,” Mitamura said in an interview at Saiseikai Central Hospital in Tokyo, where he serves as deputy director.

“In 2006, 45,000 AEDS were sold and placed around Japan, making this the second largest market after the United States.”

"twenty six serving of heart attack please!"

people might suffer from heart attack looking at busty figurines - Akihabara

uhhh.. people might suffer from heart attack looking at clothes?

people might drown when they fell off the cruise or people suffer from heart attack looking at other people drowning - Hotaluna Waterbus from Asakusa heading to Odaiba

people might drown in the aquarium? maybe? - Aqua City Odaiba

uhhh.. flying ghost? and ghost frighten people and people seen ghost might suffer cardiac arrest(?)

Unfortunately, a number of tragedies occurred before Japan brought its laws into line with international recommendations by allowing public access to AEDs.

The most publicized was the death of Prince Takamado, a member of the Imperial family who collapsed in September 2002 while playing squash. Although an ambulance arrived within eight minutes, paramedics were too late to resuscitate the prince. He almost certainly would have survived had an AED been on site, Mitamura asserts.

people might get too excited looking at the Disney Princesses - the map shows 11 units of AED in the Tokyo Disneyland compound

Another tragic case was 14-year-old Shunpei Inage, who collapsed and died after running at school in June 2004, just one month before AED use by lay people was approved. His parents set up a foundation that has successfully pushed for AEDs in every high school in Hokkaido.

Prep School (i think)

Of course you don’t need money to get at the AED; it’s behind an unlocked door fitted with an alarm to discourage theft and alert bystanders that an emergency is in progress.

In Japan, lay people don’t have to have had training before using an AED in an emergency situation.

in a pharmacy in Asakusa Shopping Street

“We pushed hard that there be no requirement that laypeople be trained because the machines are very safe and easy to use,” Mitamura explained.

The AED diagnoses whether a shock is really needed and gives automated, step-by-step voice instructions. (In Japan, most AEDs speak only Japanese.)

“Japan was very late in allowing public access to AEDs,” Mitamura acknowledged, “but we went a big step ahead of Western countries by not requiring training.”

That said, it’s better to know your way around an AED before you have to use one. Let’s all get some training. We might just save a life.

...

yeah, you might as well say that AED hunting is one of the reasons of Why Japan?

Japan Day 5: It Gets Too Cold

well a certain someone said: "hey you wrote the character 'mo' and 'no' wrong in some of your henohenomoheji."

well if Jap-Higa has ADHD, i am dyslexic!

or just plain stupid...

pfft~

sorry i dont think i am feeling well. i have had headache and nosebleed since last night when we came back from Tokyo Tower.

i guess it was too cold for me; also for my travelling partners because once i came down to their room to whine to them about my nose bleeding - which never happen to me... uhh... well it happened when i got kicked in the face during a taekwondo tournament about 10 years ago, and also when i was in Pasir Gudang about a couple months ago because it was too hot; but it had never been this bad that i am still having headache and feel the blood clotting in my nose wait... what is it that im trying to tell you?

oh yes, i came to my travelling partner's room to whine about my nose bleeding but then they suddenly say: "we have nosebleed to."

some people might have it badder worse, but i still want to whine; and reminding me that other people have it worse doesnt make me feel better so shut up!

...

today, we started off by going to Odakyu in Shinjuku because one of my travelling partner wanted to buy Meiko products.

then we once again went to Harajuku, hoping to see cosplayers but what did i see is just 2 to 3 shitty lolita wannabes...

ok thats bad.

moving on! as we i did not plan on our trip in advance; we just go anywhere we think we want to go. so we went to visit Meiji Jingu...

no we did not.

one of my partners was actually looking for a toilet so we went to see the map and the nearby train station which if you wanted to use their toilet you have got to purchase a ticket or touch your Suica Card at the entry lane which we might need to go somewhere else afterwards. so we went to take a look at the nearby information board and just found out about Meiji Jingu and i told them it is a shrine so there might be toilets inside.

so we just take a walk inside; stopped to go to the toilet, ate takoyaki which honestly i read it as kaniyaki and bought it and it actually looked really like takoyaki i stuffed one of them in my mouth and chew and uuurrrrghhhhhh~!

and we decided to go to Sumiyakiya to eat.

i dont eat octopus and squid, fyi. simple because they taste urgh to me. but i still swallowed the one i stuffed in my mouth. it is bad to spit out food.

there are children in Africa who didnt get to eat any...

ok stop.

entrance to Meiji Jingu

i didnt bring my winter jacket because yesterday was not as cold. the weather gets colder somehow and the wind was killing me in inside out on our way to Sumiyakiya; and by the time we reached at 3.30pm...

noooooo~!

yes, its closed. it says there that it is actually closed on Sunday and it is written there that it will reopen at 5.00pm for dinner time.

we decided not to wait because it gets colder and windy and my partner said that there is another place that we can go which is at Toranomon. as we go up from the subway near the building it gets very cold and windier?

the wind becomes faster (i need to work on my vocab and i am too lazy to search for the right word) and my headache becomes worse and we kinda dressed ourselves like ninjas

see? im wearing uggs~

because it was too cold for us and when we get there...

i do not have the photo here because it is frustrating.

we finally decided to just "oh f*ck it lets just go home" and we had our dinner at Panas Indian Restaurant near the ryokan; where my nose started to bleed again.

...

so what i mostly did today is:

1. ask "where would you like to go next?"

2. suggest some places that we can go if my partners do not know where to go.

3. navigate.

4. translate; especially during shopping; especially if the promoter did not speak English well.

5. rage. because i had headache and i cant breathe well using my nose and i cant really concentrate on navigating using

GOOGLE MAPS!

back in the ryokan one of my partner said that i can just stay here forever and be a tour guide.

well yeah, maybe. just quit my raging job now and stay here and be a tour guide.

just like what they said and i myself said and everyone said when we were in Seoul back in Oct 2013.

whatever.

and lesson learnt: proper planning on where do you want to go is still the best.

i am going to sleep now.

trust me.

please.

i beg you.

9gag.

what are you doing?

9gag.

STAPH!

Japan Day 4: Why Japan?

i finally slept early at 1.00am and woke up early at 7.30am this morning.

we initially planned to directly go to Tokyo Tower after breakfast. but we were kinda lost and found ourselves at Asakusa Market near Sensoji Temple. youd find a lot of stuff to buy for souvenirs here.

next, we went to find our way to Tokyo Tower but suddenly i spotted a cruise ticket counter and asked my partners if they wanted to get on the cruise and they said yes. so we went on the cruise and we were dropped to Odaiba.

there we took some photos, walk around and once again, tried to find our way Tokyo Tower and we finally succeeded.

so... why Japan?

the years before we had to vote on which country we wanted to go as it is a company trip.

that is why, we first went to Bali, Indonesia and the next one is Seoul, Korea.

but this time, we can choose the country that we want to go.

i have seen Japan on TV.

so i just wanted to see Japan with my own eyes.

tatoeba...

Fuji Terebi Building as seen in Digimon

Tokyo Tower as seen in Detroit Metal City
(yes, thats me in lousy make up. upon request by a friend to write 殺 on my forehead)

Main Observation Deck (Tokyo Tower) as seen in Return of Superman
(Yano Shiho brought Sarang & family to Tokyo Tower

cruise (Hotaluna) as seen in Honey & Clover

heavy snow as seen in Cardcaptor Sakura

going everywhere by train, as seen in Hana to Arisu
(both of the above are my travelling partners)

Kabuki (Performance at National Theatre of Japan) as seen in Naruto

captain (Hotaluna), as seen in... uhhhh...

well there might be more to come tomorrow; as we are going to Harajuku one more time to see cosplayers.

hopefully there are a lot of them and we can take photos.

hopefully.

yeah, i promised that i would tell you about my room.

it is a 4.5 tatami room with one futon.

i will be sleeping alone tonight... sobs...

by the way, the faces that i drew on some of the photos are called "henohenomoheji"

as seen on kakashi(s)

pfft~!

okay~ okay~ kakashi can also mean scarecrow... see?

the images i saw on TV is that the Japanese always put henohenomoheji face on scarecrows...

uh... well there is one image of scarecrows with henohenomoheji~

dont judge me! i am not Japanese!

Japan Day 3: Unexpected Kindness & Whiteness

...

2 days at Tokyo make me feel bored. i told my travel partners that i really want to go somewhere else.

lets go to Fujiyama tomorrow! now go to sleep! we need to wake up at 5 in the morning and take the earliest train at 6.00am~ thats what i said.

going to sleep early is one of my biggest lie.

i fell asleep at 3.00am while 9gagging and woke up at 6.30am. well i did woke up to my alarm at 5.30am but i snoozed the alarm and my travel partner's alarm went off at 6.00am but she didnt woke up to the alarm and the alarm went snoozing by itself for 3 times and finally she woke up and i woke up and another one of us woke up; shower and head to Fujiyama straight away at 7.30am.

as written in my previous entry, just use google maps. but i actually got some tips from a blog. well it says there that the easiest way to go to Fujiyama from Tokyo is by bus at Shinjuku; and she went for Fujiyama trip with an agent.

but somehow, WE went to Fujiyama by train, by referring to google maps!

say it with me again.

google maps!

however, there are quite a lot of transfers between train stations needed, so you will need to be careful of which station you are heading to.

by counting hours there are route to choose. one is 3 hours +- and another is 8 hours +-.

so guess which route did we take?

4.5 hours.

we initially took the 3 hours route, of course; but we...

got lost;

because of the station transfers.

but luckily, one of the train pilot; wait, do we call the people who drive the train "pilot"?

whatever. the pilot and the station manager (?) were very helpful to guide us on where we wanted to go, even if they are not really fluent in English.

it was very kind of them to ask "doko iku no?" and say "follow me" and showed me the routes or explaining where should we go for example "kaidan (stairs), up, mukou (go further behind)" or "koko (here), matsu (name of  a place), here, same."

so we finally got to the last station named Kawaguchiko; which if you already book for a tour then maybe the tour guide will wait for you there; or you can just go inside and ask for a ticket for sightseeing bus for JPY1200. you can stop at any point of attraction in the map; which is given together with your ticket. when you are done with the particular point of attraction then you can just wait at the bus stop, show the bus pilot driver your ticket and you can just hop on to go to another point of attraction.

we initially wanted to go up to Fujiyama but it was already - unexpectedly for us - snowing outside, so there will be no trip to Fujiyama. sobs.

we went on the sightseeing bus and stopped at a place called Saiko Wild Bird Park but there was nothing to be found there but pure white... and some sculptures; and a small building with no one inside.

yesterday was quite cold enough for us, even for me who always, constantly had the aircond in my room in the office at below 18 Degree Celcius which everyone else complains "it is very cold in here" whenever they come in. note that Malaysia is hot. really.

we were discussing that we wouldnt want to go to a snowy place because it would be too cold; but we ended up playing with the snow instead.

it is our first time seeing snow live in front of our eyes and it was not just snow, it is snowing by the time we arrive.

and seeing how 9gaggers react to snow, and seeing the Dude vs Wild Arctic Edition by Jap-Higa, i was wondering what it would be like to walk in the snow and feel the snow with my bare hand and catching the snow with my tongue and "do you want to build a snowman~?"

dance! dance~ dance! dance~ dancing in the snow! argh!
slippery! i cant get up! damn it!

and we were like "when is the next bus coming to pick us up~ we're freezing~ (TT_TT)"

well, snow is cool, at first but it gets really annoying when it gets too cold and too thick. it even got into my uggs~ *gasp* im wearing uggs~

put that aside, when we are done playing with the snow, we hopped on the sightseeing bus and the bus driver kept on stopping and asking pedestrians either if they wanted to hop on or where are they heading.

and yes, we had our first help without asking from an old lady at Tawaramachi Station who showed us the way to Taito Ryokan.

Malaysians?

no.

not even me.

i am not helpful.

or kind.

or going to sleep early tonight.

it is already near midnight.

i am sleepy, i fell asleep for a brief moment in the train on our way back to our room.

but i am not so sure if i can really sleep right after i am done with this entry.

alright. i am done.

done,

now.

publish.

ok~ lets brush our teeth, and oh, what is that notification on my phone?

9gag misses me~ awww~ thats so sweet~

i missed you too~

ok i lied. i wouldnt receive any notification because i was with it all the time in the train.

i just need an excuse.

just...

Japan day 2: Kabuki & Takeshita Dori

use google maps to get yourselves to anywhere you want. but make sure that you CAN read maps.

i am a gifted map reader. i always scored the highest in Geography during middle school.

.

.

.

ok that doesnt make any sense.

but.. really.. yeah i did some research on Seoul for our last trip so it is kinda easy for us to go to the places that we i want to go; and we also had a student to guide us.

this time, i didnt do any research and told my travelling partner: just buy air tickets & reserve accommodation. once we reach there, just take whatever brochure and plan for trips on the spot.

and so... yeah. just use google maps; and you might want to have a copy of subway guide, which you might need to ask from the subway officer for the English/Romaji version.

today... we initially planned to go to Fujiyama and we promised ourselves that we shall get going at 7.30am, but we woke up at 9.30am.

teehee~

ok so we didnt go to Fujiyama today but we went to see a Kabuki performance at the National Theatre. we were lucky that we reached there just as the performance started at 12 noon. the ticket range is JPY1,500 - 12,000++.

non Japanese speakers are advised to rent a receiver at JPY700 / pcs with refundable deposit of JPY1000/pcs. we went in quite late and the kabuki performance have already started. it was about a magical sword that brings rain. however, once Act 1 ended i went to return the receiver and...

staff: mou owari desu ka?
me: iie, tomodachi wa "kabuki wa tsumaranai" tte itteta. "hoka no doko ka he ikitai" tte itteta.

well, at least we had the experience of watching kabuki performance. i get to know that there will be a performance when we were watching tv at the common room in the ryokan last night and there was a brochure.

next we went to Takeshita Dori. just because. lemme show you a vid:

lol vids cant be more than 100MB if it were to be uploaded here.

not much to do in Takeshita Dori anyway, just sight seeing for good sense of fashion. we planned to visit Harajuku one more time during the weekend to look for cosplayers.

after Takeshita Dori we went back to Ameyayokocho for food (there was a chicken rice shop which a Malaysian celebrity came to eat and the shop owner hang his photo there) and shoes! i mean... uggs!

see?

uggs.

one of the most hated footwear on 9gag.

nyahahahahahah!

by the way i survived without Higa-ing. but no i cant do anything about 9gagging.

goodbye roommates!

i am going to drown myself in 9gag!

and hopefully not going to sleep to late!

and hopefully we can go to Fujiyama tomorrow as planned!

hopefully~
