Raising: A Time Lagger

still the same person i am talking about. i am in charge to train her to be a trainer. in our company; being late can never be an exception.

if you are telling us you are late because of the rain, we will tell you to depart earlier so that you will have more time to reach your destination.

if you are late for 5 minutes for a meeting which is attended by another 20 people; we will tell you that you are actually late for 100 minutes - 5 minutes times 20 people - more than 1 hour.

she was 2 times late for a training before, that my colleague became really pissed off and reported her tardiness to me.

i tried to advice her on her timing. but, you know. she is always right.

whenever i asked her to conduct a mock training presentation at my desk, lets say in the morning i tell her to start at 2.00pm, i will always be ready right before 2.00pm and i will be waiting for her for at least 15 minutes.

when i couldnt wait anymore i will call her and ask her to come to me. she will say something like: "okay, okay. im coming."

but then i have to wait for another 15 minutes for her to come.

when she already came and i was ready to listen to her presentation, she went like: walking here and there in the room, and mumbling something, and looking at the ceiling, and finally said to me: "i need more time to read through my presentation script."

and then i need to wait for another 30 minutes.

it is like: what have you been doing all morning? i dont think there are any other tasks assigned to you. all i am asking is that you conduct a presentation and pretend that you are in a training. was that really hard?
